Exclusive Interview: ARMINÉ

From the very first note of “My Dreams”, ARMINÉ doesn’t just sing—she soars. This is more than a song. It’s an arrival. A declaration. A whispered mantra turned into an operatic triumph. Equal parts classical ambient, new age exploration, and spiritual self-affirmation, “My Dreams” feels like stepping into a sacred cathedral built entirely out of sound and starlight.
ARMINÉ’s voice is the centerpiece here—and rightly so. Her mezzo-soprano is rich and resonant, yet never overpowering. It drifts and weaves through the arrangement like silk in slow motion. There’s a quiet intensity in her tone, one that reveals not just technical brilliance but emotional depth—earned, not manufactured.
It’s a mission statement. A whisper that turns into a roar without ever raising its voice. It lands like a revelation, like someone stepping into their truth after years of shadows.
Musically, “My Dreams” is a lush, atmospheric dreamscape. Think Enya meets Hans Zimmer with a sprinkle of Yanni at sunrise. The orchestration is understated but expansive: celestial strings, ethereal pads, and gentle piano flourishes build into a shimmering crescendo that feels cinematic but deeply intimate.
The song moves like a journey—not in a predictable verse-chorus-verse way, but in movements. It unfolds. It breathes. It allows space. This is a track that asks you to close your eyes and just be.

Knowing ARMINÉ’s story gives this song even more gravity. From her early days at the State Song Theatre to winning global accolades (New York Classical Music Competition, Opernfest Prague, etc.), her path hasn’t just been one of stages and spotlight. It’s been deeply personal. She’s felt the weight of perfectionism, walked through the fog of doubt, grown through motherhood and identity struggles—and now, she sings from a place of wholeness.
“My Dreams” doesn’t just sound triumphant. It is triumphant. It’s what happens when an artist steps into themselves completely.
If you're looking for a song to meditate to, cry to, dream to—or simply remind you that your truth is worth living—ARMINÉ’s “My Dreams” is your soundtrack.
This isn’t background music. It’s soul-forward, cinematic storytelling with the elegance of opera and the intimacy of a secret you’ve waited too long to share.
ARMINÉ has arrived. And this time, she’s not just performing—she’s manifesting.

Do you have an interesting moment or story from your early life that has had a significant impact on your journey into music?
ARMINÉ: As a child, I was shy and deeply sensitive. I often found it hard to express my emotions with words. Music became my safe space, my first language of truth. It allowed me to be free, to connect, and to communicate from the soul. It was my first real companion and remains my most honest form of expression.
Are there any artists that were influential to your musical journey? How have they inspired your sound as an artist?
ARMINÉ: I’ve been inspired by a wide range of artists—Queen, Maria Callas, Agnes Baltsa,Nina Simone, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Sting and many more. What they all have in common, despite their different styles, is that they transported me into other worlds. They taught me that great artistry isn’t about perfection—it’s about truth. When artists are true to themselves, the result is always powerful. That’s what inspired me to discover and trust my own unique expression.
How would you describe your sound to new listeners? What do you think sets you apart?
ARMINÉ: My music is a journey—both mine and the listener’s. It’s a bridge to the inner light, to dreams, to the truth we often forget. I would describe it as soulful, cinematic, and empowering. What sets it apart is the energy behind it—it’s not just music, it’s a reminder of who you are.
What’s your creative process? Where do you normally start when it comes to writing and recording? Do the lyrics come first?
ARMINÉ: I love the creative process. It’s beautiful, messy, and sacred. Often, the music and lyrics arrive together like a vision or a whisper. It’s like I become a channel for something greater. I usually receive a feeling, a few lines or a melody, and I build from that spark. I try not to overthink it-I let it unfold.
Have you had any challenges or adversities in your life that you feel have shaped you as an artist?
ARMINÉ: Life brings challenges to all of us, and mine have deeply shaped who I am as an artist. What I’m most grateful for is the ability to take adversity and alchemize it into creativity. I made a conscious decision to grow through everything—to look inward, to listen to my inner guidance. That choice has brought depth and authenticity into every note I sing.
Are there any moments or achievement from your career so far that you’re most proud of?
ARMINÉ: I’m most proud of the woman I’m becoming through the art I create. I wouldn’t choose just one moment or achievement because every day I show up for myself, my children, my loved ones, and my creativity, and that’s the real achievement. I find deep joy in the simple, sacred moments: writing, performing, connecting, living in alignment with my true self, playing, dancing. These are the milestones that truly matter to me.
Which do you prefer, the creative process or live performance? Or do you enjoy both equally?
ARMINÉ: I love both equally. The creative process is exciting, filled with unknown possibilities, there is no time and space—it’s where I disappear into sound, emotion, and spirit becoming one with the flow. Performing, on the other hand, is about connection. It’s where I bring others into that world with me. That shared energy is powerful. It creates something alive, something bigger than all of us.
Do you as an artist require fans to fully understand your message in each song or do you encourage subjective interpretation from every listener?
ARMINÉ: Every song I write holds a message, but I deeply respect that each listener will receive it differently. Music meets us where we are. My only hope is that my songs serve as a bridge to someone’s inner light. If that happens, then the song has fulfilled its purpose.
What are your future plans? Any new songs/projects on the horizon?
ARMINÉ:There are new songs on the way and always new dreams unfolding. My focus is to stay in creative flow, to keep performing live, and to let the music lead me to the next chapter. This is just the beginning.
