“Electric Eliminator” - A:M Club

If retro-futurism had a soundtrack, it would probably sound like this. A:M Club, the solo project out of Darwen, England, has dropped Electric Eliminator — a bold, self-produced EP that arrived on September 19, 2025 — and it’s as much a cinematic journey as it is a dance record. Imagine the pulse of a Berlin club colliding with the neon-soaked paranoia of a 1980s sci-fi thriller.

Created entirely in a home hardware synth studio, Electric Eliminator drips with analog grit and cinematic atmosphere. The EP’s DNA is rooted in the timeless work of 70s and 80s soundtrack legends — think Carpenter, Vangelis, Moroder — but A:M Club doesn’t just imitate; they reinterpret. The beats throb with dance-floor energy, the synths swirl like a dystopian skyline, and the melodies pull you deep into an imagined future where humanity wrestles with its own AI-created downfall.

That’s the heartbeat of the project: the end of civilization and the urgent need to reclaim our humanity from AI’s grasp. Thematically heavy, yes — but delivered in a way that’s hypnotic, visceral, and strangely addictive. This isn’t a lecture. It’s a vibe, a warning hidden inside a groove that makes you move while you think.

The uniqueness comes from the DIY craftsmanship. With over a decade of production experience under their belt, A:M Club worked this entire project alone, sculpting soundscapes from hardware synths and refining them through Ableton. The result isn’t sterile or overproduced — it’s tactile, raw, and alive. You can practically hear the cables humming and the circuits glowing, giving the record an authenticity that’s missing in much of today’s electronic landscape.

And while the subject matter leans dystopian, there’s a flicker of hope here too. That optimism comes through in bold hooks and defiant energy — the sound of an artist doing exactly what they love, for no one’s approval but their own. As A:M Club puts it: “Love what you do and do what you love.” That mantra hums beneath every beat of Electric Eliminator.

This EP isn’t just for electronic heads or sci-fi soundtrack obsessives — it’s for anyone who wants to lose themselves in a soundscape that blurs past nostalgia and future dread. Electric Eliminator feels like stumbling across the score to an unreleased cult film while still delivering enough dance energy to fuel a warehouse party. In short: it’s immersive, unsettling, and unforgettable.
