London-based guitarist and composer Fabio Cicala is back with something truly special—his latest original single, "The Words I Didn’t Say." Releasing on Valentine’s Day, this track is a raw, deeply personal, and beautifully intricate piece that blends baroque, neoclassical, and 70s prog-rock influences. With its hypnotic melodies, virtuosic guitar work, and a touch of psychedelia, the song is pure emotion, told through strings instead of words.

"The Words I Didn’t Say" isn’t just a song—it’s a story, a memory, and a feeling all rolled into one. Fabio wrote it after experiencing a powerful connection with someone he met on a film set. The chemistry was undeniable, but there was one problem—he was already in a relationship. Instead of acting on those feelings, he poured everything into his music, capturing the tension, longing, and restraint in a way only he could.

"I truly believe we ourselves attract the right people and opportunities in your life, depending on how mindful we are in our path of personal and spiritual growth." Fabio shares.

The result is a track that builds and unfolds like an unsent love letter, filled with fluid chromatic runs, cascading melodies, and deeply expressive phrasing.

This isn’t just any track—it was recorded at two of London’s most legendary studios: Abbey Road and Soho Sonic Studios. As part of his larger nine-song project, "Rude Awakening," the song reflects Fabio’s personal and musical evolution since moving from Italy to the UK in 2014.

The entire composition was performed on Fabio’s Cordoba F7 Paco classical guitar, named after the flamenco legend Paco de Lucía. The recording process was intense, with high-sensitivity microphones picking up every nuance—even the sound of his breathing.

What makes "The Words I Didn’t Say" stand out is it’s unique blend of influences. Think baroque-style phrasing, fast chromatic transitions, and lush harmonic textures, all laced with a psychedelic twist straight out of 70s prog rock.

Believe it or not, part of the song’s inspiration came from George Michael’s "Careless Whisper." Fabio was practicing the song one day when his fingers started improvising a baroque-meets-rock solo—and that spark eventually evolved into this track.

"Music is for me a way to express and share my journey into personal and spiritual growth, with the people around me. A way to transmute pain into strength, as it has already healed me several times, it's a powerful tool that turns me into an alchemist!" Fabio says.

If you’ve seen Fabio perform live, you know his electrifying presence—whether he’s busking on London’s streets, playing private events, or performing at corporate gigs, he always leaves an impression.

Outside of music, he’s also been spotted in the film and TV world—he even played a busker elf in Disney’s "Artemis Fowl.” But for now, his focus is on expanding his online presence and connecting with a global audience.

Fabio tuned the track to 432 Hz, a frequency often linked to healing and harmony. Whether you believe in the science behind it or not, the song has an undeniably meditative, transformative vibe.

"The Words I Didn’t Say" isn’t just a song—it’s a journey, a confession, and a moment frozen in melody. Whether you’re a fan of intricate guitar work, cinematic storytelling, or just music that makes you feel, this is one track you won’t want to miss.

Plug in, close your eyes, and let Fabio Cicala take you on an unforgettable ride through music, memory, and meaning.
